WHAT WE OFFER
NEW HAND CRAFTED VIOLINS AND VIOLAS
We make new finest quality violins and violas to order copying and using models of the early Cremonese makers. Glen and Susanna are well known for their powerful and easy to play Guarneri del Gesu copies. These have a rich tone with a deep core that resonates right from the beginning.
Having Ethan in our worshop as a maker as well, enables us to offer instruments of different prices. We would be happy to discuss your requirements and have you try our work.
QUALITY STUDENT INSTRUMENTS
Our own range of Gio Rossi hand made student instrument are set up to a professional standard with quality strings. There is also a choice of good quality childrens small size violins including some used serviced sets.
SOUND ADJUSTMENTS
With over 50 years of experience at setting up and adjusting instruments Glen has a reputation for improving rich tonal qualities and the resonance of the sound of most instruments.

SERVICING AND REPAIRS
At Sussex Violins, we are happy to evaluate the instruments if they are in need of repair or professional setting up. Our skilled luthiers can set up, retouch and clean your violin, viola or cello resulting in instrument that is not only beautiful but also a joy to play.

We have some accesories in store and can supply bows, cases, strings, shoulder rest, chin rests, rosins etc to meet the specific needs and preferences of each musician.
FREE CHECK UPS
If you feel your instrument is not sounding as it should and maybe not as good as it has been, make an appointment to have Glen check it over for free while you wait.
